MAKING HISTORY

We work with clients to identify sites and tell their story through interactive experiences for history lovers young and young-at-heart.

COLLABORATION

Whether a historic downtown or other historic site, we work with our clients to identify how best to tell their stories to a broad audience.

DIGITAL WALKING TOURS

Using apps such as OnCell and Distrx, we guide visitors through your site with historic images and audio clips.

INTERPRETIVE SIGNAGE

We assist with tour signage, historical marker applications, and can add QR codes to markers to explore the history of a place in greater depth online.

PRINT MATERIALS

Working with professional graphic designers, we develop print materials to accompany online exhibits.

We trusted Katie Randall to research the history of a historic property and could not have been more pleased. Her work was thorough, enlightening, and provided us with a new perspective on the past, present, and possible future of the building. We highly recommend Katie Randall and Afore Preservation Consulting!

Katie Randall holds herself to the highest standards and her work reflects that. She has built professional relationships in the preservation field that she brings to bear on behalf of her clients and The Land Trust for Tennessee is always pleased to have the opportunity to work with her.
  • LARRY STEVENSON

Owner of the Frank and Annie Lee Davis House
One word I would use to describe Katie is dependable. I wanted to document and preserve the history of my grandparent’s home and didn’t know where to start. Katie met with my family and helped us get the house listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage and apply for a historic marker. We ran into some unexpected obstacles due to COVID, but she was always available to guide us through the process and answer any questions that we had.
